Healthy whole grain muffins

I give these out every Christmas. They are a big hit! I’ve tweaked the recipe over the years in order to acquire a moist consistency while still being completely guilt free!

Ingredients:
1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour.1 ½ cup multi-grain oatmeal
1 cup nonfat plain greek yogurt
¾ cup liquid egg whites
1 tbsp flaxseeds
1 cup dried berries (or chocolate chips if feeling indulgent)
1 ½ cup unsweetened apple sauce
1/3 cup nonfat milk
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup sweetener of choice

Preheat oven to 400. Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, egg whites and milk until well blended. Add in the dry mixture. Coat 2 muffin tins with cooking spray. Fill in batter until within ¼ inch of the top of each hole. Bake until brown. (Usually around 15 min)
